had a dream today about my r/t going in for a new tailgate (dont know why) and coming out of the dealership with the 'factory recalls' of awd conversion, 6 speed, and a 5.7 hemi kb supercharged. i dont know why, but if i go outside and my truck needs a new tailgate ill crap myself :)

how hard do you think it would be to fab an awd conversion for an r/t?? that thing would be a demon off the line with 4 wheels clawing at the pavement

a lot of people would be happy if they made 5.9 4x4's...no dakotas came with the 'wet dream' option, but there are 4x4 5.9 r/t durangos...go figure.

You could get QC dakotas with a 5.9.

Mexico makes a FWD R/T but it's only a 5.2L with R/T stickers. The trans is almost good enough for a 5.2 a 5.9 would break it real quick. The transfer case just aint up to it.

i have a dakota, and i only dream of being able to supercharge it ect... i also dream more of not only having a 5.7 super r/t, but having a 5.7 super r/t blowing a lightning away off the line.

Dude.... traction is one thing. Weight is totally different. Take your 4200 lb R/T and then add about 500-750 lb for a transfer case and a front axle and the associated suspension parts, etc. and now your R/T weighs 5000 lbs and it's still got (just) a 360ci motor. Now you have to get ridiculous with power adders & motor mods just to be able to USE the traction that you've installed.
Think in terms of how fast a 360Ram is.... not very, if you ask me.

I had a dream a while back, it involved taking my 4.7 out, putting a camper shell on the back, and squeezing a blown hemi under the shell. But make it so it's not outwardly visible that it's there. (can you say "sleeper" and "wheelstander"?)

Demon....same dream as mine only mine included the fabrications to the body to allow the fit. You could only do it in a CC and you would have to actually go partially into the cab to mount the engine otherwise you would not have the necessary length to accommodate the transmission let alone the driveshaft. One very short driveshaft if at all anyway. I just remember telling myself in my dream(the end when it was all done)...man that was a real pain in the arse.
Must've been all those hallucinogens in my younger days...hehe
