Is anyone here running a 100 shot on a 4.7? If so what mods have you done/need to do to run it safely? I'm thinking of installing the NOS Universal V8 NOSzle system (the one that plugs into your existing fuel injectors...)
Will the stock engine handle this? Right now I have a cold air intake and a flowmaster 40 series. I'll probably need a 180 T-stat and maybe autolite 3923s?

a buddy of mine put nitrous on his 4.7 ram it did just fine ran a 9.90 eigth mile with nothing else down and it was a club cab. He sold it and keep the nitrous kit, bought a 4.7 Dakota and is going to put the nitrous on it. He swears buy it. 100 shot didn't hurt his motor none so go for it.

i have been runing a 100 shot on my 4.7 since august 2000 and its still runs great it has a coldair intake no cat an a flowmaster and 4.10 gears it ran a 9.4 with lots of wheel hop if it got good traction should run maby a 9.1 or 2 but dont go crazy because 4.7 have very poor pistons i am going to rebuild mine with forged pistons and change the cams and have the heads ported and run a 175 shot maby thin i can get that lighting

75 shot on mine,its fine.do not go over 100 hp on stock internals!(pistons,etc.)

I've thought about the nozzle system myself before. as a general rule you can go higher shot with direct port, and the nozzle system is pretty similar.

Yeah, the NOSzle system is basicaly a direct port system. Do you guys think I'd need to change the stock injectors? I don't see why I'd need to... Thanks for the help!

mine is a wet system,plug change of course.keep stock injectors.(wet,sprays nitrous and fuel in one spray).i love mine.

In my opinion, the NX Single fogger wet kit is the best for the money. I have to spend time each month swapping it in and out of my vehicles (although I've never pu it on my Dak). You should see what it does for my '03 Maxima. Silly fast!
