when under acceleration there is a rapid clicking noise coming from the passenger side...I can't tell if it's in the dash or if it's coming from the engine compartment...any ideas what it is?

Could be an exhaust leak or a PCV rattle ,the PCV's with a plastic plunger make a click noise .

roll down the window on the pass side , make sure you dont have a rock stuck in your tire thread or a nail in the tire

thanks for the suggestions, but I know for a fact it isn't a rock or nail since we have 6 inches of snow on the roads and it still does it...it sounds more like it's coming through one of the vents...who knows...we'll see, I'll have to do some exploring

I had the exact same noise about 5 months ago, real annoying. The fix was to turn the radio volume up about halfway or more, and it has been fine ever since.

Crawl Under the truck and hit the cat. If It rattles then that is the noise. Also look and see if there is any exhaust leaks. Look for blak soot
