Dude, like all the major companies that make superchargers make one for the 4.7. Do an internet or site (this website) search and you will come up with tons of info.

Kenne Bell and Paxton are the most popular brands for the 4.7L engine. The Kenne Bell has been around for this engine longer and leans towards low-end grunt, the Paxton is relatively new but the Novi 2000 is widely regarded as the best power blower for the R/T's and should carry over for the 4.7L as well.

kenne bell has on but i think that they are way over priced. i checked it out and it was about 4200, paxton just recently released theres, and it is about half the price of kenne bell.

Make sure you read eveything that comes with the S/C. Kenne Bell comes with their KB Optimizer II ECU/PCM upgrade. You also don't have to tap the oil pan and run lines to it. The KB is also a twin screw, which is great for low end power (although it won't make as much on top end to my knowledge). There are advantages and disadvantages to both (like any other choice in life, I suppose). Make sure you do more research before making your final decision.

The kenne bell really limits you ability to mod the engine. They don't even want HO cams in there.

The Kenne Bell doesn't necessarily limit you from modifying the engine, but for some reason they advocate using stock engine. Why, I have no fkn clue.

I am sure KRC's cams, pistons, and heads would do wonders to a Kenne Bell.

Anyone put the NOVI 1000 kit on their 4.7? I'm planning on it next year, just wondering what kind of gains to excpect...

(...continued from above...) I've got a flowmaster 40 and hopefully by then I'll have a 72mm F&B and the KRC 206 (plan on both of those this summer), so I should see a fairly good gain with the NOVI 1000, anyone have a similar setup? Eventually I'd like to get some serious head work done, headers, and some ROSS Racing pistons so I can really crank the boost up... :-) just need some more money though...

Better add an intercooler to that list if you want to crank up the boost on pump gas.

why dont you do headwork before the
supercharger (less stuff to remove). $1600
for a set of ported HO heads. add a 75 shot of
NOS and HO cams and you've got more
power for less cash.

I am building a 5.9 with a KB supercharger and I was going to add some HP parts and see what it does... the reason KB dosen't advise running cams etc. is b/c they have the comp tuned specifcally for a stock engine that will pass CA smog... and since the dodge engines don't have a Mass Airflow sensor like the fords it is much harder to tune the system... but none the less... I am adding a mild blower cam, 1.6 roller rockers, dual stage valve springs, forged 8.5:1 pistons, cometic gaskets, Ceramic Headers, 52mm t/b, and possibly an M1 intake... with the 8 psi pulley there should be no problem with highend power. Honestly I am looking for power off idol where I spend most of my time driving... If I was building a race motor I would probably get the ATI with an intercooler for the max high rpm power, but I like the lowend power and the KB just plain looks badazz... sorry for the long post..

D - Yeah, I'm considering that, but I'll definetly be going with the KRC 206 instead of the HO cams.

Except that the 206 KRC cams might let too much of the fuel/air mixture blow by due to the duration/overlap.

Demon Dakota - do you think so? they don't have as much intake duration as the KRC218s and the 218s are meant for supercharged/nitrous setups...

Well, which one has more duration and overlap? That one will blow the most fuel out the tail pipe (at least it should in theroy). The 218's aren't even really streetable, so as a race motor, who really cares what kind of mileage it gets.

I didn't think the M1 would do a lot for the KB... with the positive displacement SC the manifold dosen't do a whole lot... I have been told that even the t/b won't make a huge difference... I was thinking that 1.7rollers, and some good injectors would be a good idea.. and forged pistons with 8.5:1 compression just for kicks..
