I just purchased a grille insert off of the internet and though i haven't actually received it through the mail yet I was wondering about something. I am sure you are aware that the dakota hoods are released by a safety latch that you must reach through the grille to release. So when I install the grille inserts how am i going to be able to open my hood, since the inserts cover the release latch? Thanks, Brandon

You have to basically relocate the hood latch. If the kit is any good it should come with the neccessary equipment, or at least with instructions on how to do that

Thanks for your help and yes i found out that I do have to "relocate" the latch release and found a link on exactly how to do it. The link is www.chimptopia.com/pimptopia/grille3.html in case anyone else is having the same problem.
