i have a 18 inch long glasspack, do you guys think it will sound good on my truck???
i've also been thinking about a y-pipe after the pack with straight pipes comeing out the back does anyone know how this will sound???
(it would be a single glasspack with dual straight pipes coming out the back)
should i use tips on this setup???
or should i
get a flowmaster 40 series original with straight pipes behind it???
i am lookin for the loudest setup with the best sound???

i have an 18 in glasspack after my cat which isnt there anymore adn then duals out of the glasspack and it sounds really good it has a nice deep tone when your gettign on it and then when you let off it has the nice glasspack crackle to it. If i was you i'd defiantely put it on there i'm sure you'll like the sound

You can go to www.fast4x4.net and look under the videos section. That truck was equipped with glasspacks and duals at the time that those videos were shot.

I have a 98 dakota and i put true dual exhaust on my truck. a pipe running from each side of the engine. anyways i have a glass pack on each side and they are about 15 inches long, and there are not cats on it, very small pipe and that really makes it crack, if i were u the best way to get a nice rumble and have it crack when u step on it is to run true dual exhaust with 2 inch pipe. and have a catylitic converter on each side, and thats it just run it like that with big tips, i have done my own custom exhaust and stuff, and believe me i love the sound and the power, and so does the neighborhood, just gotta keep it down, jk jk

I put an 18 in long glasspak on my 97 with straight pipes off of the y after it...it sounds real nice...deep rumble when idling..and when you gas it...it's loud
