Anyone want a K&N Drop-In filter? Paid $49.99 for it on 8/19/02. Installed 2-3 later, and only got about 800-1200 miles on it. Took it out about 2 weeks ago when I installed my new Intense Performance cold air intake. First $25 gets it. (I dont think I have the box anymore. I could look though.)

Josh I have been considering an Intense perfomance setup for several months, what did you notice if anything over your dropin K&N?

Yeah, nothing SUPER nice... but engine sounds and is running smoother, and I feel a noticable HP gain. I ran it for like 2 weeks with the radiator flap on then decided to take it off, that helped a considerable bit. Intense has some nice options, and doesnt kill your wallet (Got my Stage2 w/9' Big Mouth Filter for $159 shipped).. The only real downfall I see to the K&N is that it doesnt have a replacement air hat (does that really matter, anyone?) Oh, I am running a 98 3.9L V6. 40 Series flowmaster. No cat. Stage 2 Air Intake. K&N oil filter, Royal Purple oil.
