I have a 5.2 adn i'm thinking about getting the flowtech headers for $180 or woul dit be worth the extra $120 to get pacesetters with the ceramic/metalic coating becuase it says they reduce under hood heat.... has anybody had problems with the headers being hot and melting things or anythign like that

get the ceramic coating it reflects and insulates against the exhaust heat, keeping underhood temp down, remember gases flow better when they remain hot.

I have burned several plug wires with my JBA's/ I fixed this by getting the MSD wire sheilding kit that puts fiberglass covers over the boots. I also added slef vulcanizing tape. So far so good.
