i have a 318 with a flow 40 series original with dual pipes coming out behind the rear wheels if i use these cone shaped tips will it be louder???????????????????

Yes, it will be louder. Adding tips usually deepens the tone and makes it louder.

my father-in-law rebuit a '49 chev truck with a 350HO crate motor and true duals. he had these insane 4" tips from Megs added after the project was done and it really did increase the rumble, you can hear that truck comming long before you see it.
