Subject: Considering 5.9 r/t Regular Cab
IP: Logged

Message:
Im considering buying a 5.9 r/t Reg. Cab truck, and I have a question about the interior.

First, I currently drive a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I love the space that it provides. However, I dont really use much of it.

I want a Reg Cab r/t, but I think that having only 2 seats would not be practical. Does the R/T come with a bench seat to seat 3?

Mine has the bench seat and I like it better over the 2 bucket seater w/ the big console in the middle.

I just ordered a 2003 R/T Club Cab if you want to seat three this is another option that you have and the rear seat is not to bad to sit in. The club gives you alittle more storage space and seating.

DD ... It's about time someone caught on to that...thought Lynn would for sure simply due to his vicinity. No, not a WWII/aviation buff...but perhaps my family name has something to do with it. ME 109 was my first choice but the 111 utilized jet propulsion which I thought more appropriate.

No flames from the peanut gallery either or I'll be forced to pull out a can of my 100% American Whoop-Ass.

It was the Messerschmitt 262 "schwalbe" that used jet propulsion :)

The R/T comes standard with the bucket seats and console which is usually a $350 option on other Dakotas. You can get the bench instead as a no cost option but you have to ask specifically for it and they don't give you back your $350! My Dakota has the buckets but back in 2000 the split bench actually just was the same buckets with a center seat cushion insted of the console. Now there is that 60/40 split bench instead. My brother in law has a 98 work type Dakota with a true flat bench in it and it is pretty uncomfortable. Hay I'm trying to sell my RC R/T and was looking at getting a 99 or newer 4.7 Grand Cherokee, are you getting rid of the Cherokee?

Well, I guess rocket propulsion is sort of a form of jet propulsion. ME 111 was the one that if the fuel tank burst, the liquid would eat the pilot, right? Little egg shaped plane that, once it's fuel is expended, glides back to Earth? My personal favorite is the FW-190 D9, the inline engine version of the Butcher Bird. Nasty little bird. I actually got to fly a FW-190 in 1998, but it was an F-4 ground attack model. Still handled really well, though.

Hersbird, I am getting rid of the cherokee.

However, its the inline6, not the 4.7.

Regardless, it is a nice car...had about 28k on the sticker.

Hersbird, please drop me a line at caruso14@cox.net I may be interested in buying you're r/t if you're going to sell it.

Thanks.
