Guys I dyno'd mine not to long ago for a baseline and our numbers are very similar! You can see mine here at this url:

http://www.dragtruk.com/ENTRIES/OH2BI16WFX7N.html

All I had done to mine is the AirAid intake and Flowmaster Force II 3'' cat-back, both supposedly are suposed to be at a loss of HP or no gain but it seems Im making better torque than most stock dyno'd 4.7L's? Oh I still have all three cats too.

Well CW they are universal but they arent the ones everyone has been ordering, see I took that everyone who ordered the regular ones either just resold them because they are 2 inches too short, or had then lengthened, well I took a look at my local Advance Auto Parts who had a Lakewood products catalog behind the counter and low and behold they sold not only the ones everyone gets but these that are 2 inches longer. They are referred to as either H/D or Heavy Duty or something and they are made out of stronger material but it says they only come in Yellow and when I got mine they were black. Hey made me happy cuz they dont stand out all that bad, but if you look they contact right at the point they are supposed to, although I did have to shim them to get them paralell with the road and not pointed up or down. They really helped as far as wheelhop goes, now I just burnout do to my crappy tires!

Oh and by the way I dug through some papers here to try and find a part number for yah it's either #22026 or #22030 that shows they are different as where everyone else had bought the universal #20470/chrome ones, or the #20475/yellow ones. In installing them I had to use my own longer bolts, with correct washers, lock washers and nuts, as the ones in the kit werent long enough do to the shimming I had to do to make them level.

Yeah Chris I'l second Lab Rat on that they are a whole lot better, the others are only 28'' and that makes them contact way back on the spring therfore Id say it could possibly lead to damage, these contact just behind the spring I exactly where the instructions say to. Say Lab Rat did you have to shim yours so they were level?

I was initially going to shim them-had just over 1" clearance btwn the snubber and the spring. I put them on at 3000 miles and since then the springs have settled in and there's only about 0.75" gap which is what Lakewood recommends. This way they're engaged as soon as you load up the drivetrain. I've seen a lot of comments about having them parallel to the ground but I don't think it is ideal for this suspension, the gap would be too wide. Truck springs have a much larger arch than cars and to keep the gap small they will point up a few degrees.
