I had just puchased a Xlerator Muffler, all i can say is that it sounds mean as hell. I just had it installed and its sounds sweet as hell. Throttle response is a definite plus. Not sure about the gas mileage yet, bue ill keep ya posted.

Im not sure who made it, i bought it from a local muffler shop. If you around Rochester NY, the shop was called Cole Muffler. The whole name of the muffler is AP Xlerator. THe Part number is X106. The muffler sounds amazing. Nice low rumble, then when you hit the gas the tone becomes a little raspy, which i really like. THe muffler is a 4x9 case, 2 1/2 center in and 2 1/2 offset out.

Ahh yes thats the Company, I just found out tonight. Ive had the muffler for like 3 days now and its really starting to break in. It like to rasp around 3,000 RPM's. The muffler costed me like 60$. Id say it was a great investment.

Just bought my xlerator for my 02 4.7L DQC. All i can say is that this system is awsome. Great sound and noticable performace.

I agree, Ive had that muffler for almost two years now and its still perfectly in tact. The muffler still sounds amazing. I think everyone should give this muffler a chance. peace!

Yeah, the Xlerator is definitely an awesome choice for the price. I was told it was similar to a Flowmaster, but it has different characteristics. It sounds good down low, and doesn't crack or sputter when you rap it up. I paid $65 for mine, but it is 3" in/ dual 2 1/2" out. My duals really sound nice all around, definitely an excellent choice on a budget. Would buy it again for sure.

i have one on my 94 5.2l ram with 3 1/2 straight to duals, it sounds amazing but i personally dont like the raspy note it has in the middle range, its idle is great and it doesnt stutter in the higher ranges, just roars

I just had the Xlerator X136 instahled on my 2004 silverado...with a 5.3 v-8. Its single in and dual out. Its sounds excellent! at idle a nice tone that screams performance. at excelleration, what a great sound as well as performance inhansement it feels as though it picked up 10 to 20 more horses if not more! i cant wait to see how it improves when i tow my 28 ft.travel trailer! When i spoke to my guy at the local wearmaster exhaust shop and told him what i wanted to accomplish with a new exhaust system excelerator is what he reccomended. even though i never heard of it before. I trust his judgement. and i am truly impressed!

I recently installed the xlerator vx muffler with turn down tips on my 97 4x4 Tahoe. I am very impressed with the muffler. It has a very aggressive growl when you touch the petal. Love it
