So, I live where you can drive your Dak on the beach. I haven't driven on sand, cause I've heard that the sand gets up into all the parts and pieces of any vehicle and will cause problems and ruin the vehicle far sooner than normal. That theory makes sense, if you have sand rubbing everything, especially moving parts. I'd love to go tearing thru the sand, and mabey the tradeoff is that that your Dak dies sooner.
Any thoughts?

I live on the ocean and have driven my Dakota on the beach many times. I've never went tearing up the beach though for obvious conservation reasons. Also, I use a pressure washer to clean my truck so I get all the dirt out.
