Subject: what would provide more power?

I've decided to go with a magnaflow muffler welded into the stock pipes...the particular muffler I want which is their biggest, highest flowing, and quietest (5x11 oval) doesn't com ein the exact configuration needed for our dakotas (2.5 in/out), it only comes in either single 3.0 in/out or a single 2.5 in and dual 2.25 out, which would flow better and provide the most power (also figuring in some sort of adapter or additional flared pipe for the single 3.0 in/out to fit properly.

single in and out... but i doubt if the power gains will even be measurable...it definatly will not be the thing that wins a race.

i say get what is the cheapest.
