Anyone out there runnin a lower profile tire than a 55 series? I'm gettin me some R/T wheels but dont want the 55 series sidewall.... I like the way 275/40/17's look.. thanks

Naw thats ok man.... I work at The Tire Rack and I'm gonna get some R/T wheels they told me I could only go with the 55 series cuz of the weight of the truck blah blah blah But I knew I've seen r/t's with smaller profile tires thanks man

Sounds like a load of crap. Just check the load rating of the tires you want. The rating for the 45 series i got was a lot more than what my truck weighs.

I have BFG G-Force KDW 275/40 ZR17's on my truck and have had them on there for over 10,000 miles with NO problems....
