the other night in town i pulled up to a light next to about a 95 grand am gt and i have a 95 4x4 with a 5.2 that i've done a little bit of performance mods to and as soon as the light turned green we both got on it and he started to get me till i hit about 40 then i just went right on past him and then we both had to stop for a red light and at that light we were both revving em up and my cat back duals with no cat was making all kinds of noise and while we were getting ready for the green my buddy in the passenger seat noticed there was a cop behind the grand am so the light turned green and he spun his tires taking off and i just took of normal and the cop pulled up beside me and gave me a thumbs up for kickin the grand ams a$$

I was at a red light not paying attention,in my 2002 cc 4x4 4.7L, and a guy in a new 2002? silver Grand Am Gt pulled up alone side me when the light turned green, he floored it, I had pizza on my mind and my mom in the passenger seat, but as soon as I realized he wanted to race, I had to beat that V6, I mean come on, I have a V8. So I floored it and he had almost a car on me, by the time I was at the speed limit of 45 mph, I had a truck on him and was pulling away quick, I "won" at 50 mph and let off, he stayed behind me till I turned in to the pizza place and then blasted by like he was all big and bad, not an amazing race, but he did have the jump on me and I still spanked him!!!
