I am sick of getting Magazines that are based around the chevy truck. If I wanted to down grade I would have bought one. If the mag on the bookshelfs are not for the chevy they are for tricked-out lowered trucks. Does anyone know of a magazine based on the Dodge truck if not for the Dakota? BTW, thanx to all that post messages. You have givin me many ideas of what to do with my truck and how to do it.

I didn't know there was one. I buy Truckin' and Sport Trucks, but I agree with Dak Attack, the dodge coverage is very limited. And, no offense intended, but the dropped, bagged, chopped look grosses me out.

Did you buy your truck new from a dealer? I did and the magazine comes every quarter personalized from the dealer. ie. coupons and a form letter in the front.

Joe: I hae not heard of D/C is it the same thing that comes from the Dealer.
I am in the Navy and ordered my Dak while I was at sea. It was waiting for me when I got back from cruise. I have not received anything from the dealer since I did not buy the truck from him just picked it up from his place.
I thank you for the in-sight. I am gonna call the dealer and see if or what I need to do.

My dak was a lease turn in, it was barely used... I never received anything from the dealer. I did receive something once or twice from D/C, but that was a couple of years ago, nothing since. Ticked me off since they send everything adressed to MR.
And speaking of grossed out, I was looking through the truck mags last week and picked up one called "Tailgate" Blech!!! And put it down just as fast.

The dealer "magazine" is basically a 10 page ad. If you don't get it, you're not missing much.

I just dislike the fact that every time I find something in a mag that I would like to get for my Dak it is for a Chevy. If I do find something like it for the Dakota it looks funny. Like replacement hoods for example. I have only found one I kind of like. Just gonna have to keep looking. I had a feeling that the dealer would not be any help. Called mine and they only have the brochure I already got.
I also really dislike the dropped to the ground trucks with low profile tires and such. Why did you by a truck if you wanted to do that to it. Get a Honda Accord. Only thing like that I plan on doing is to rais the back end up maybe 2 inches. I think it gives it a meaner look.

D/C= Daimler/ Chrysler. Call 1 800 992 1997 in the usa for the magazine. I am sure they can help. The Dodge magazine has letters from owners, Nascar :-) info, And info on future products along with the previously mentioned coupons.
