Subject: any cold air intakes for a 2002 4.7?

Message:
Are there any cold air intake kits for a 2002 4.7 liter that is carb certified? I live in Cali and I would like a few extra horses out my dak but I heard the 2002's have an extra 02 sensor and the intake kits for 00-01 won't work, is this true? I'm already planning a muffler change (stock pipes with magnaflow muffler) and want to free up the intake side as well, I don't want custom I want carb certified. Any info would be appreciated.

okay...even though no one answered after doing more research a found a website that says the airaid is carb certified and lists it fitting 2000-2002. Could someone please clarify for me if there is some sort of extra 02 sensor I have to worry about with my 2002? Also, does anyone know for sure if the airaid makes more power than the stock intake, I heard the stock is pretty good and I would hate to waste $150 for less power?

K&N came out with one. Part # 57-1516. Both Summitt and Jegs have them, even though they don't list them. It is a special order item. I think its around $265. I haven't ordered mine yet. Whatever one you decide to purchase, I would like to know how you like it.

There is a couple available cold air intakes. INTENSE
PERFORMANCE
has one. It's the
STAGE III
Cold Air Intake. I have the
STAGE II and I've ordered the
STAGE III for mine.
I've enjoyed mine sound and performance wise.
Good Luck,

These are not C.A.R.B approved, but I would not live in California. I would move before I had to get second rate equipment due to local comunist LAWS.

Good Luck,

I have a K&N FIPK #57-1517 for sale it may fit your engine but I'm not sure the price is only $75 plus shipping from FL. It's off my 2000 R/T and it's like new.
