Message: The power steering in my 2000 4.7l got low (reason unknown) and burnt up. When I do my cams and intake tomorrow I am thinking of flushing this with new fluid. WHat type does the factory reccomend?
The reason I ask is that my friends 'stang uses mercon III fluid exclusively.
Also does this engine (2000) use normal radiator fluid or the orange stuff?
