you want to call them. If I order a 03, 5.9, 4x4 QC will there be a fit for my truck? Thorleys web page doesn't list anything past the late 90s. Also, the page cautions about rapping headers, however, doesn't mention anything about coatings, any opinions?

Try the Kenne Bell's. I've had them for two years and love them. They are a little pricey but are well built and still look great. I had no leaks or any problems at all from them. They also come with a larger y-pipe. Really helped low-end torque and changed exhaust note without increasing sound. I was told by Kenne Bell that they would make it quite a bit louder, but it didn't change at all. I have an 18" Magnaflow to deaden the sound. Real awesome sound that carries quite a distance, but is never too loud. Best of both worlds in my opinion. I wouldn't change the headers or muffler for anything else. There's my opinion, do what you want with it. Hope it helps.

Only shortie headers (JBA, Edlebrock, Gibson, etc) will be a direct bolt on swap for your truck... You have precats... (catalytic converters attached directly to the stock exhaust manifolds). If you were to remove them (against Federal smog laws) you should be able to run PPH headers for a 5.9L Durango 4x4--- and run Kat boxes to connect the O2 sensors that run into your stock precats...

Wraps can trap moisture in everyday driving, between the wrap and headers-- leading to corrosion. Ceramic coatings (highly recommended) will keep the heat levels down under the hood, plus make for some nice looking headers for some time (vs. non coated going grey/black/rust color within 9-12 months).

I sell the PPHs... Plus have a coated set on my truck. Love 'em!
