I've never tried one. I was about to buy one when I first started reading this board a few months ago, but, from what I've read they are not worth the money.

I was also looking into getting one and talked to A LOT of people on here about it. The opinions are basically spend another $100 and get a fastman TB. If your going to remove the TB to put a riser in you might as well replace it. What year is your truck? I have a 2000 wich states a 65mm that is really a 62mm. Dan sends you a true 68mm for 2000 daks and a 71 for 2001-2002 daks. He's an honest guy and I talked to him at length and for $200 and your old TB you get a much better system than just the risers with a whine. You should also invest in an air intake and cat back to maximize the larger TB.

Hope this Helps! Dan is at www.thefastman.com definatelly a good guy. My 68mm was shipped yesterday.

I noticed some extra torque, but nothing that would make your eyes bulge.

And you still have this dyno sheet correct?

Even if you do 21rwhp and 19ftlbs sound way to full o'sh!t.

no offense

There is no way you got that much power increase from a spacer. Dyno sheets have already proved to me that they do nothing. Logic proves to me that they do nothing. One dyno sheet will not change my opinion. Spacers do nothing beneficial for FUEL INJECTED vehicles.

While we are on the subject of "funny" performance mods; what is up with relocating the IAT sensor? Any input to the PCM that is not true and correct will eventually be cancelled out by the upstream O2 sensor. As long as the the O2 sensor is bouncing high-low, the computer is happy. O2 has the final word on long term fuel trim. (except for open loop operation -- that has it's own predetermined fuel program)

Why don't people put in a high pressure fuel pump?
More fuel = more performance, right?
NO
The PCM will just shorten the pulsewidth to keep the O2 sensor happy.

Another thing--- When I drive with a scan tool hooked up, and floor the pedal, I notice my MAP is 0" - even near redline. Now, if the engine does not want more air, why do I need a different intake?

All those big pipes narrow down to the size of an intake valve eventually. How many people here are doing REAL headwork.

**** getting off soapbox and away from kicked hornet nest*****
