I took everything off rear of the cat today, and have lost some power. What would I do to get it back? Would a flowmaster make any real difference as far as getting back some torque?

You lost back pressure by removing everything. Modern engines need that back pressure to make power, unless you are SC or Turbo'd. I have a high flow cat on my dak and lost some power in the low end. Just waiting to hit the lottery to SC mine. And solid axle. And Cam. And...

You have to run a tail pipe to get torque out of the newer dodge engines. If this is a 4.7 run a 2 1/2" or 3" chambered muffler(flowmaster)if its a 5.2 or 5.9 run a 3" flow through(Dynomax ultra-flow).Intake mods should be done before a free flowing exhaust.A ported TB and a K&N air intake will help the low end and pull better at high rpms.
