I just ordered the dual sport s.s. exhaust. Does anyone have this exhaust and if so, do you need to remove the spare tire or can you get around this? If so I think I am going to cancel it and go with the sweptside. I called gibson and they said I need too remove it on a 4x4. I have a 2002 qc, 4.7 4x4.

I have the dual sport on my 01 QC. It does not get near the spare tire. You don't have to remove the spare.

I have the dual sport on my 01 CC Sport. I HAD to remove my spare tire. The only way u might be able to get away with it is if u dont have a hitch on your truck. This is do to that fact that the spare tire will move front to back when it is in place. so i would think all u would have to do is push the tire back as fare as it can go and the exhaust should fit. Or do what i did. i got on the phone with the dealer and they said u can change your tire size be 10% before it messes with your computer. So i went with a smaller rim and it works.
