Is anyone currently running the Venom 400 Controller for the 4.7L? I was looking at one and thinking of maybe gettin that as the next upgrade?

yeah,i have one in my altima.it does work well.and easy to install.about a half hour.they say up to 25% hp.but i dino tested at about 17%after install.wich is good for the money.i would make the purchase!!

Its all reviews on the venom. If anyone knows anything else or have first hand experience I would love to know to.

After reading a bit more about it I am not sure it does more than Bernd's IAT adjuster which also modifys the input signal to the ECU. I will wait to hear from them as I indicated earlier.

notice it is for part throttle only and I have owned one myself. pure snake oil.
its an expensive tps mod.

it's basically a combination of the tps mod and iat adjuster. don't waste your money. read alll the info on how it works. thats why it only works at part throttle why you can use another chip as well as most of them work at full throttle. and most people I've seen with dyno runs on them have lost hp.
can't beleive I'm going to say this but check out superhonda.com they are the largest forum and thats what these things were designed for.

I don't have a Dakota, but I do have a full size Ram 1500 w/ a 5.2L (318) V8. I'm considering purchasing this Venom Control Mod for my truck. Does anyone have any suggestions or know how the venom performs with this type of engine?
