 Subject: IP Stage II for 4.7L

I am considering the Intense Performance Stage II intake for my 4.7L and was wondering what other users thought of it. How has your performance/mileage/sound changed since installing it? I am thinking of combining this with a Flowmaster 70 Series sometime soon.

I have a similar setup to what you're thinking about.
IP Z-tube w/ 7" Big Mouth
Flowmaster 50 Delta Flow, dual 2 1/4" rear exit and 3" chrome tips
The sound is definitely different - lots of roar from the rear and a nice whoooosh from under the hood when you get on it. At highway speeds, there is little to no resonance in the cab. It was exactly what I was looking for at the time - not obnoxiously loud but you can hear the power.
Dunno about mileage, maybe a little more but not really sure. Since I had them installed I have been getting on it more often so....
Power? Well, I didnt really have the truck long enough prior to those mods to be able to notice a big difference. But I'm about to leave to get it Dyno tested. Want a good baseline before I add my other mods. We'll see if the first 2 made any difference :)
