Before you buy anything you should call this
number: 714-3639-5220 which is the Leach company.
Send them $400 + your PCM and then smile really
big when you're driving your truck around after
getting the PCM back. You'll be glad you did.

I'm gonna be gettin an auto as well, hopin like hell when the transgo kit for it is released it'll make you and soon-to-be myself not have "messed up" :)

Duner, if you get the leach flash done before you do ANYTHING else, does it adapt real well like normal (after you drive it a bit) or do you later need to get it done again?

No, you won't need to get it done again. It
should be good for most all bolt-on mods until you
get to forced induction or power adder

Has anyone had any experience with ASE flashes?? Which would be better for an 02 4.7, the ASE or the Kenne Belle?? BTW,This is my first post on this board, but I've posted on Moparchat for a few years as RAMDUDE..I have a black 02 RC 4-7 auto with AIRAID, No third cat, and 2 40 Series Deltas turned down

Jared, do a search and you'll find enough on the ASE chip to make you think twice about it. i would trust the KB flash over the ASE. a couple guys have had little to no gain from the ASE chip, not to mention the fact that they are just now looking for test trucks. if they are still testing it, why should we be paying for it? :)

Thanks alot guys, The kenne bell looks like the way to go..would it be comparable to the Leach flash for the pre-2001 vehicles? I Know kenne bell wont remove the speed limiter, but i have the 116 limiter so I really dont need to go any faster...

Thanks
Jared

Jared,
Good news, Kenne Bell will not remove the limiter but they will move it up. Mine on my '02 was moved from 115 MPH to 135 MPH. I know you don't have any where in the USA you can just open up and drive that fast for an extended period of time, but it's good to know you can.
I give the germans hell everyday.

Lynn
