2008 Dodge Dakota 4.7 misfire and other. Have had a serious problem last year. I had 140k miles and going on vacation so I thought I should change plugs. Than is when my problem started. Engine died 2 blocks from local garage.Engine light not showing ever. It started and took it back to garage, put on machine, nothing, suspected a relay that he said had to do with misfire. Drove it for 2 days all is good. Started my 45 day camping trip and 70 miles out of town the truck just died for now reason, no engine light. Had all towed back to local Dodge dealer, there diagnosis was not factory recommended plugs installed. $500 plus later I was on my way again. Got to Pensacola, Fl 280 miles and truck stopped running again, no engine light. It started after a bit and drove to local Dodge dealer in Pensacola. They worked on it 2 days, changed the brain and power module. Out of desperation I left the truck with dealer, said I'd be back in 45 days, fix the problem. 2 days before I arrived he said he found what he thought was problem. The previous dealer had the new spark plugs reversed. okay!! Picked it up drove back home . Now 1 year and a few mo. I get my first engine light failure. Local Auto store says misfire on several cylinders. Here we go again, just about to leave again on camping trip. Has anyone experienced this complete engine failure while traveling down the road. I know it was length but I had to I thought necessary. Thanking you in advance Bob Hyser

Hey Bob rich here from California was wondering if
you replaced anything like the throttle/tbi/oxygen
sensor not matching or any sensor before major
part replacement is what it sounds like.
