Hi,
I just got a 92 Dakota with a 318 5.2L. It has tons of power and runs great but when trying to stay at a steady speed in town it get real rough. Always the same speed (80kph)other speeds its seems fine. if I give it gas it smoothes out and if I take my foot off it smoothes out. Seems to be where tranny wants to shift but the guy I boutght it from had installed a different tranny from original and I know nothing about it. Any suggestions on the rough running at just that one speed? It seems to be right where the tranny wants to shift but can't without going about 10kph faster.
