 Subject: Flickering Headlights

I've got a 2001 4.7 liter V8 with flickering
headlights. When I turn them on they
immediately start to flicker. If I play with
the dimmer switch they usually come on but
sometimes its a game of turning the lights off,
playing with the dimmer, turning them on, and
then playing with the dimmer again. Once on
they stay on without any trouble
until I turn the truck off; when I go to start
the truck back up its the same problem. Any
ideas out there as to what the problem might
be?

Replace the switch.. I replaced mine
2 years 2 months ago and am having
that problem again

Hi I have a dodge dakota sport 4.7l I just
replace my switch because of flickering
headlights now my headlights don't flicker when
the truck is on. But when I turn it off and take
the key out of the ignition all 4 blinkers still
flicker I checked my battery and alternator with
a multimeter and they test out fine any ideas on
what else it could be I heard it might be the
pcm but I'm unsure and don't want to change it
if I don't have to

Message:
Check the multifunction switch under the dash
drivers side by the brake pedal. Its controls the
turn signals and flasher. It may need replacing.
