 Subject: 99 5.9 rango f/pump

I've been having a problem with my'99 rango. Generally
idles good but you try to go at higher speeds and starts
missing on more and more cylinders. Shut off for a
while and starts, runs rough awhile , smooths and
repeat. Checked with pressure gage.runs at 43 psi for
long time. Rev it awhile and slowly drops to crap and
chugs to beat hell.then cycle key and no pressure.
Then next time a bunch of air and after awhile start to
get a little fuel. Let sit 3 hours and the whole thing
starts again. I need this fixed and hoping its something
cheaper than a fuel pump. I'm disabled and income is
limited. Any help appreciated.
