Although I had a bad experience last time I am thinking about trying once more... instead of paying $270+ for the K&N setup..

yeah, I have seen that one. But i was wondering if anyone has it of the one that they installed. just to see it in a real world aplication.
and I was hoping for a larger pic than they have.

I just installed one a few weeks ago (thanks to R_U_FST2 for that). I've noticed that it really pulls over 2500RPM. I've also noticed that my gas mileage went up about an extra 50km (approx 35miles). I don't know how much that translates into MPG.
It sounds mean too....haha...it almost sounds like a bigger v8....lots of rumble
the installation was really simple and it just looks cool under the hood.

ill have to concur with topless....i will say i think i lost a little bit of low end grunt, but it definietly pulls nicely at about 2600 to 3000 rpm....and yes, when you get on it it sounds mean. i love it. slight improvement in mpg's also, about 1.5 to 2 mpg improvemtn when im not stepping on it. hope that helps

Thanks for all the replies. I should be getting it later next week. After the install I am going to get a friends digital cam and take a few pics and I'll see about posting them. Thanks agian for the replies.
