Couple of ideas both of which happened to me, at different times.
1st no power: I opened up the hood and started jiggling wires, as a friend turned the key inside the cab, then came to the main negative ground.... voila lights / power / action. It wasn't loose, and cable sheath was intact. However, it was the original cable and was badly corroded (green) inside. Put new cable on.
2nd: Could be ignition cylinder / assembly is broken. Key turns but nothing happening.
Not sure if either will help you but maybe it will.
