Hey, what is the life expectancy of a V8 Dodge Dakota? I have one with just at 180,000 miles. Have I reached it's life span? Also, do you know any other failure rates of other major components? Not sure this truck is worth starting to put a bunch of money into.

Like any vehicle, depending on the maitenance performed,
you could go 300K miles. I've got 180k miles on an 00 v6 and
it performs almost as good as it did when it was new.

i have a 2004 4.7 V8 Magnum with 297k on it. its quiet clean leakfree and strong as an ox.

I have an 02 dakota 4.7 with 267k miles and runs great. No
unusual engine noise. No leaks at all!! Original everything on
the engine and trans. (Except fluids lol)
