 Subject: Shift Solenoid A and Check Engine Light

About a month ago my Check Engine light came on with a Shift Solenoid A trouble code. This has happened two more times and everytime it trips it has rained or is raining. My local trusted trans shop replaced the solenoid and did a "service" while the pan was off. Right after I paid my bill, the code popped on the mech that was pulling my truck to the front of the shop!
Any ideas?
I'm thinking an electrical issue since it has only shown up after rain or rain and very cold outside. This rebuilt tranny has approx 60k miles on it and up to this point has been flawless. The shop kept my truck and will apply what I just paid him to any additional maintenance expense.
