Hi guys I got a few ?'s for ya i have a 1999 dodge dakota sport cc with the 5.2 I have cold air intake on it and dummy flows.But my main ?'s are

1.How hard is it to install a small cam in our trucks and who makes the best for em?

2.IM buying M1 intake 52mm tbody and headers what else can i do to add power that doesnt involve tearing down the motor.

Umm, if you don't want to tear down the motor, i would forget about a camshaft and instead get 1.7:1 ratio rocker arms-they would be ALOT cheaper and faster to install than a camshaft. With a cam you would probably need new valve springs, and maybe even hardened pushrods. I don't know how much money you want to spend, but better-flowing heads would be an excellent upgrade, and since you are going to have the intake manifold off, taking the heads off would only be an extra 30-60 mins. As far as the intake manifold- they make a HUGE difference in the upper RPM range, but take away aaaaaalot of low-end torque.

There's not alot you can do without "tearing down the motor," as you put it. Even taking the intake manifold off requires a decent amount of work. If you just want simple "bolt-ons", then go with the better throttle body, headers, and rockers. All three of those can easily be done in a few short hours, without draining any fluids.

bleed down before moving to the next one.
