Subject: Amsoil Trans. Fluid????
IP: Logged

Message:
Has anyone that does not sell amsoil tried it out in their 45RFE trans yet? If yes how has it stood up. Has it slipped or shuddered like decronII or III does? I am considering amsoil products and it would be nice to be able to run products all from one company at a discount!!! I am curently running Redline C+ ATF and it is working great. I also service alot of imports and it would be nice to keep one product around for all of them! I realy do not trust their claim that it is universal.

I have it in mine since 4000 miles, 23000 now. Not one problem, no wierd problems. I will have a fluid analysis done on it in the next couple thousand miles. I have to change the tranny filters at 30000 and I want to know what the condition of the fluid is. Theory is I shouldn't have to change/flush at that time. Would you like me to e-mail you after I get the results of the analysis?

Yes!!!!!! That would be great!!!! I have been useing Redline C+ATF since 9000 miles. I have been happy with it so far. I will have to get it anylazed at 30,000. I am interested in amsoil because of cost saveings as a prefered customer and universal usage. I also know that they make a good product! I have been wanting to test my oil as a base line before I switch to Amsoil. I plan on putting them to the test. Currently I use Mobile 1 10W30.
