Hey Dakaty (and the rest),
I have a 99 2WD with a Chrystler 8.2 axle with a ratio of 3.21....and its open diff. Lets just say she aint that quick off the line :-(
With that said, I simply want to get limited slip AND 3.92 gear ratio. I know diddly about where to go and what parts I need (and what info I need to supply).
My plan is to purchase all the parts myself (to save some doh), then have a shop do the install. I could really use some help in identifying exactly what parts and /or kits I need. Currently, the only things on my list are Redline lube and Dana Trac-Lock. You 4x4 folk seem to know a good deal about diffs, so I humbley ask for your guidance.
Note: I have already decided NOT to go with Powertrax, based on the threads I have read.
