I did a motor swap from a 3.9 in a 00 ram but the 5.2 they
gave me was a 93 dak with a 98 trans and was told to get
the comp for the trans when hooked up it says no bus but we
got it to go awa ad got power to the coil cleaned all the
points on the distributor and a new crank sensor i need help
plz and I have a friend that's a mechanic and he said it's
prolly the comp

I am not sure but are you saying you put in a 98 computer? a 98 computer will not work in your 00. you need a 00 computer from a truck that had a 5.2 in it. The 98 trans has no electronic controls except for the overdrive which will be fine, its hydraulic shifting. The engine is the same, sounds to me like you just have the wrong computer.

I dont know who told you that but the 46rh is a hydraulically controlled transmission. therefore you need a 2000 model computer to control the engine.

as long as the computer you buy was from a truck that had the 5.2 in it, yes. The engines are unchanged from 92 until they stopped producing them with the exception of the removal of the egr valve in 96 i think.
