 Subject: 1999 stalling issue

I have a 1999 dakota, 5.2L v8, 5 speed manual. 4 wd.
Just randomly driving it will stall, Usually if I turn the key back to off, and then turn it back to the on position, All the gauges come back up and it will start and run till the next time, But when it stalls, Rpm gauge stays the same, Speedo drops to 0. All the gauges drop, I took it into the dodge dealer they cant say for sure but the one guy there says PCM for sure or the wiring to it, I need to see what a few more people think before I go spend 350 on a new one. All the lights still work when this happens too. the gauge that shows how many miles on the truck flashes 4 times then says no bus and check engine light comes on, If it takes a few minutes for everything to start working again Ill go shake the plugs going into the PCM and both times so far the gauges come back up and it runs great again, It sucks beccause im worried it will stall in a really bad place or cause an accident

Check the plug harness that plugs in to the computer box for corrosion, also clean all grounds from the motor to the body.
