guys,
i used rancho in the past...but found out rs 5000 dont come in sets of four for the 4wd dakota?
i want a stiff shock, but dont want to take a loan out to buy them....any thought?
2001 5.9 quad cab.

Well, I changed out the front shocks on my '00 QC 4x2 about 100k ago to Monroe Reflex and I am very pleased with their performance. They were a little stiff when I first installed them but later on the ride just kept improving and they still ride great today.

I just installed Rancho 9000XL adjustable shocks so far 80 miles on them and work great plus all u do is crawl underneath and turn a knob on each shock settings 1-5 for your preferred ride comfort. not cheap. like 80 each.

I have a 2001 Club Cab Dakota. Would someone post a step by
step procedure for replacing the shocks? How long does it take to
replace the four shocks?
