 Subject: Will this motor fit?

I have a 2000 Dakota with a 4.7 that is automatic. I have to replace the motor, will a 5.2 from a 1998 with a 5 speed fit my truck?

Will it physically fit? Yes. Will it work-NO. Different computers, sensors, wiring harness, etc. I would assume that the motor mounts and the bolt pattern for the bellhousing is different, as well. Why would you replace a 4.7 with a 5.2, anyway?
