Hello, i have a 1999 dodge dakota club cab, i have the 2.4L 5 speed. My engine in the bay is sooo small, obviously the truck was designed to fit a V8. Iam currently rebuilding an engine, it is a mopar 318. i have a tranny that comes with it. Im wondering if i could put that engine into my truck with out too much modifications? If i can get it in there, is the stock driveshaft and axles okay? or will i snap them with too much power/torque? im pretty sure everything on the truck is made for the V8 model, but im not sure. If i can pop in the engine and tranny with little issue, that would be SWEEET! Can you guys help me out?
