Tried the "advice" on this forum,my heat doesnt work so I did a "backflush" thru my hoses into the heater core,got good flow.Hooked everything back up...no heat.

Yes,coolant level is good.I got a 95' V8 4x4,I pulled the dash panel and checked the "slider Switch" for the cool to heat settings.The slider wasnt moving anything,so I got the lower black plastic piece to go into the groove,now the "slider" barely goes halfway towards "heat".I figure the thingy that moves the steel rod is jammed/stuck.
