 Subject: '04 Dakota brake lines

so I found out what the problem is with my rear brakes, the metal brake lines running along the axel have about a 1 1/2 inch spot that is crushed, I'm guessing it was done by someone who towed the truck wrapping chains around the rear axels.....doh......so my question is, does anyone know where to get replacement break lines? I'm going to call our local dodge dealer when they open tomarrow but I'm dreading what the price may be direct from the dealer and I havnt been able to find the break lines anywhere else, if anyone knows a good place to look, or a way to fix the crushed section that will hold up and isnt to difficult to do let me know.....thanks

You just need to know the diameter of the line and how long it needs to be , then go to your local auto parts store and ask for steel brake line of that length and size ..
