Call B&G Chrysler they would know. Electrically you will have to deal with a neutral safety switch and a reverse light. B&G has done 2 PCM's for me so far.

alright guys, i have a question along the same lines as tony. i have a 2003 5.9 with a procharger, and im running on my second tranny now. third on the way. i know i can get a tranny to bolt up to the 5.9l, NV4500 right? what transfer case wouldnt be too bulky and still hold up to the abuse of the procharger (preferably something with an electronic shift). and i am already planning on having to get a complete wiring harness and ecm from a ram 5.9 with the same set up so itll start. neutral safety switch, reverse light, clutch pedal assy and C/Master. am i missing anything?

Dakota R/T is 2WD why are you asking about the transfer case?

The NV4500 only has a reverse light no nuetral safety switch. Check with B&G to get your PCM flashed if not your PCM will keep giving you codes. Using the NV4500 you will also need to modify your interior as the shift is closer to the dash and requires some modification to fit. You will need the flywheel for a 360 and a slip yoke which is tough to find. High Gear out of Tennesse was very good at locating the tough to find items, flywheel, shifter, slip yoke.

Because jflint458 is not talking about a RT. All he listed was a 03 5.9-. Flint, the pedals will need to be out of a dakota. Good luke with the swap.

The only 2003 Dakota that was offered with a 5.9 was the R/T.

Bull, I believe you are wrong. The 5.9 was offered in Quad Cabs 2wd or 4wd not only R/T's for '03.
