My 92 dakota needs rocker repair...
The aftermarket rockers are a thinner gauge than the originals.
Anyone in here replaced there rockers and maybe give me a few
tips....??
Welded in...or just riveted???

I am pretty sure they are spot welded in. if you get a spot weld cutter they should come out relatively easily if you take your time. but you will have to spot weld the new panels into place.
