I noticed the other day at a stop light that my oil pressure gauge was at about the 1/4 mark from the normal 1/2 ..I've just got alittle over 2000 miles on the motor, oil level is good, wasn't towing or running hard, is this normal for you other 5.9 motor guys when the weather gets up into the mid 80's

My oil pressure always run about 70 psi when driving, and about a needle-width below 40 when idling. I have a 2000 QC 5.9L 4x4.

It's normal...if you read the manual it says the pressure level has nothing to do w/ how much oil you have so you shouldn't judge the oil level by that, just by the dipstick.
