I have a 2001 4.7L dakota that was idling rough and showed a code that the tps was the culprit. I replaced the tps and the idle jumps have stopped, but now it cuts off in the morning when I depress the gas and start rolling. It restarts fine and after a while it is fine. This weekend had it cut off when accelerating up a hill at cruising speed. Any ideas what is wrong? Engine light still is on and shows tps code had Auto zone try and reset but it would not reset. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Sounds like a defective TPS. You may want to try another. It's throwing that code for a reason.
