had an issue with my dakota last weekend while towing my camper. i think the thermostat stuck on it, engine heated up, and when i shut the truck off, it split the top of the radiator open. i am calling around trying to find a replacement radiator, but i am wondering whether or not i have a a heavy duty radiator in my truck..(i.e. the kind that would come with a tow package perhaps) how do i know if i have a factory tow package on my truck or not. do not have a window sticker or owners manual.

Ross i cant tell ya if yours is heavy duty or not but i can tell ya that i have been looking for a nice crossflow aluminum radiator for my 94 and havent had any luck, Griffin Radiators said if i sent my radiator to them they would build one for me for about 650.00 so i figured i would continue to look for a nice aluminum one that would fit.....no luck so far , theres nothing wrong with my radiator but i dont like plastic.
