No need to shout (CAPS) at us. Go back and shout at the guy who charged you $700 without fixing your truc instead.

Dang I haven't posted here in months!

Anyway. My $10 bucks says the code and stalling were unrelated!

The code is probably a leak in your evap system, possibly just your gas cap.
As a matter of fact, my truck is popping that code. I haven't even bothered to look for the leak yet or replace my cap. Replacing the gas cap is the cheapest thing you can do if you can't see any loose hoses.
It will take some time before the light goes out.

As for the STALLING. Most likely a dirty IAC which is due to be cleaned.
Mine even stalled on my wife the other day when she started my truck. The truck has not been driven much lately and it was cool out.
Once warmed up it's fine. I probably need to clean my IAC as well. But even if you don't, it wont hurt anything other than stall on cold starts or have a surge when coming to a stop sign.

I think the repair shop took a GUESS and installed you a new pump. 99% of the time, if a fuel pump goes bad, it's toast and you can't drive at all. They usually don't just cause stalling. If anything, it would idle fine and have problems under load if it was weak.

Pull off the air hat on your throttle body. With the engine running and varying the throttle slightly, spray some carb cleaner down in there. Look for a hole in the side of the main opening. That is the BYPASS through the IAC. It's just a small valve that opens and closes with a stepper motor. They get gummed up and cause the stalling/surges at idle.

and don't just replace the cap unless you really want to. i'm not sure about your state, but inspections here require the gas cap integrity to be tested. if they do that in your state, have a kwikikar place test it for you. it shouldnt cost you anything unless they're a-holes.

common evap leaks on dodges are the evap canister (should be under your bed on your model), the evap lines and the purge solenoid (either by the fire wall or next to the battery)

about the stalling.. i wouldn't ask anybody here. not that nobody knows the answer, but you paid someone $700 to fix your truck and they didn't. you need to go back and have them fix it. they should of done a full diagnostic on the vehicle and not just started replacing parts.
